I must admit, Sparrow was an amazing book. Another one of Micheal Morpurgo's amazing stories again, this tells readers the story of young Eloise, who has always looked up to Joan of Arc, and on one sunny day in Orleans, she has a very special daydream...
There was one creature who really knew Joan, a sparrow. He was her best friend. A young warrior battles to save her country from tyrants and will have to lose everybody she has ever loved. This is a very great and sad historical fiction story and follows the life of the almighty Joan of Arc who battled ferociously to save her beloved France. Through patience, perseverance and unbreakable spirit, Joan has to fight to save her country. Reading my own review, I want to read this book again; another one of Morpurgo's wonders. I recommend you to read this book, it will give you an idea of the grueling times Joan went through. See you soon ☺️!
