The secret seven is a classic wonder by Enid Blyton.

The gang consists of seven young children who have made it their business to solve the problems of the neighbourhood. Around fifteen books have been published, the last in 1963. This is the sixth book in the series.

The Secret Seven consists of Peter and his sister Janet, and their friends Jack, Colin, George, Pam and Barbara. Peter and Janet’s spaniel Scamper is an unofficial member of the Seven and helps warn them when Jack’s annoying little sister, Susie, is creeping about spying on them.
Their meeting place is the shed in the back of sister and brother Janet and Peter's parents garden. Their mom sometimes gives them lemonade and biscuits also the occasional chocolate bar to take to their meetings. The members always need a password to enter, and Jack always forgets or writes it down in a notepad which Susie eventually finds.
I have really enjoyed reading this and I would largely recommend this read to any children from the age of 5 to around 12 plus.
