Mr Stink by David Walliams
Book Name: Mr. Stink
Author: David Walliams
Year published: 2009
Rating: 4.1/5
Mr. Stink is most certainly one of our modern classics of today. David Walliams has taken the fact that so many people judge a book by its cover, and showcased it in this novel. Mr Stink is a tramp, whose odour is quite disgusting, so many people don't come up to him or greet him, they just hurry past, or even mock him. If the same man was a wealthy duke, he would most profoundly be treated differently. Its when young Chloe, who is being ignored at home by her stuck-up mother and vain little sister Annabelle( her dad is really nice to her) notices that wealthy rude Pippa throws rubbish onto Mr Stink's head from the school bus window, that she decides to pay him a visit.
She goes up to him with an offer, and from one sausage to the next, she and him, as well as his little black( or is it white ) dog.
The lesson I've learnt from this book is not to judge a book by its cover, because you don't know what's behind it. This book is recommended for all age. David Walliams' personality and humour shine through every page. Thank you for reading, see you soon!
Best wishes
