This is an amazing book, which definitely ranks up top on my fav books list. The tale of 12 yr old Ruby settling into the Indian Himalayas really touches me, and I would recommend it for all ages. I hope anyone who is considering reading this does since I picked it up in class and thought, looks boring, but once I read a chapter, I became so engrossed in the story, I finished it in 2 days! Enjoy this novel because I definitely did. Also, Jess Butterworth's work is certainly worth it.
