Dancing the charleston by Jacqueline Wilson

Dancing the Charleston by Jacqueline Wilson - Mum of Three World

I personally think this is a really strong book. Mona Smith lives with her aunt, who is a dressmaker to an old woman, whose land they live in. When she falls ill, they become worried, but luckily the eccentricity trendy and fashionable !r Benjamin saves them because he has inherited the land.

Based in the 1920s, open your eyes to a world of wild glamour, family drama, and class conflicts, as Mona learns that secrets can't stay hidden forever. The dresses Aunty makes, slippery silks, ravishing reds, yesterdays yellows, and perfect pinks, they are selected for work at Harrods. And then after their client passed away - the one from the first paragraph, she makes her robe, and Mr Benjamin is delighted with it.
This is how they met each other, and then they become firm friends.

Suddenly, when Mona comes back home, she finds herself eating a feast of food!

With an appearance from the popular Hetty Feather, when she goes for a day out in London with Mr Bejamin's nieces and nephews, who naturally she is good friends with, she runs into their cousins, a snooty pair I am TELLING YOU, then it all goes wrong...

Jacqueline Wilson has mastered yet another novel of hers, she is a gem of the reading community! I hope you enjoy the book, it was fabulous!

Best wishes,
